Window blinds in the bath?

I am plaing on washing the in the bath. Do they need to be open or shut. What should I use on them dish soap? How should I let them dry?

I do mine in the shower, use a soft brush and some liquid soap, rinse and hang out to dry, does good.

dish soap and bleach in hot water.
open them about 1/3 of the way so that you can run over them with a cloth.
when washed, I loosely close mine and sent them on end up against the wall to drip dry for a while. The I hang them and give them the once over with a dry towel .

the 2″ inch blinds are the easiest to clean , mini blinds
are a pain to clean ……..

I do mine in the tub with a household cleaner. I use Mr. Clean. I let them down all the way and use a toilet brush to wash the slats.Let the water out and refill to rinse. I have clothes lines so I hang them outside until dry.
My mother used to stand them up in the tub to drain and put them back up on the window while still damp, with a thick towel on the sill to absorb the remaining water
