why is it when i open my door my window blind makes a lot of sound?
Bauq asked:
When one of my window is open and then I open the main door there seem to be a lot of air going in or going out. I know this have to do with the different between the pressures from the outside and the inside but I don’t exactly know why. I mean shouldn’t it make sound when the window is closed instead of opened because the opened window would around the pressure from the inside to equalize with the outside. Does anyone know enough about it to explain it to me scientifically?
edit: When one of my window is open and then I open the main door there seem to be a lot of air going in or going out through the window which makes the blind moves and make a lot of sounds even though the windows and the door are 2 rooms from each other. Sorry for my terrible English and thank you for the answers.

When you open your door, the air from your window now has a path to rush out from (it does not encounter the door), so it rustles the blinds.
