What is the easiest way to clean levelor window blinds ?

Spring is approaching, and I need to get stuff done. Other than taking the blinds outside (too cold this weekend), what other speedy way can I get them clean ? Spray them with something and dunk them in a tub ?

Well you could try spraying them with keyboard cleaner. The power of the spray will make the task go faster.

i fill the tub with cold water, add a little bleach and let the blinds sit in the tub for an hour. after that they look like brand new

A lot depends on the material the blinds are made of. If they are plastic or “metal” you can use the bath tub method. Or if they are really bad you can take them to the car wash (do it yourself kind) and clean them there. Use the brush and the whole 9 yards. If they are the “fabric type” try woolite in the tub and a soft scrub brush.
