Should I let my landlord know that there is a wasp nest outside my window and under my neighbor’s balcony?
Melissa M asked:
I just moved into an apartment last week. Today I opened my window blinds and I noticed that on the underneath side of the balcony for the apartment above us, there is a wasp’s nest growing. Right now it’s only about the size of a hockey puck, but there are quite a few wasps on it. The balcony is about 5 feet off the ground, and about 10 feet from the apartment’s front doors.

Should I let the landlord know about the wasp’s nest? Or is that something that they wouldn’t take care of? They told me they have an exterminator that comes monthly, would they take care of it if I let the landlord know? Should I let the people above me know in case they use their patio a lot? Or should I just not bother with any of that?
