He might need some perfessional traning. I mean I am no expert as you can see, But I no that can drive your neighbors crazy. You might put a muzzle on him if you have to. You dont want to many complaints cause then you will be forced to make other choices. Some dogs are just strange in there own ways. I hope you can find better answer but good luck

I used a shock collar that responds to barking on my lab. I used the lowest setting on it and after about a month I was able to take it off permanantly and he only barks when there is something I need to know about.

They don’t work. I was at a loss for my dog and my neigbors were about to murder one of us. My only options left were the surgery or the collar. The shock collar works but it doesnt shock. Its more like a small pinch. Anyways they have bark collars that spray citranella but those can make your dog sick. Just opt for the static collars. They work wonders and my dog is so well trained that I no longer even put it on her.

To get them to stop barking when you aren’t home, you need to stop them when you are home. Maybe try a spray bottle of water and leave the windows opens so they can see what is out there. Hit them with a shot of water when they bark or do something else to discourage them. Maybe a firm nah! How do you discipline your dogs on other matters? You need to work with them while you are home. They need to learn that their behavior is not acceptable. Shock collar do work but only if you know how to properly use them.
