How can I tell if my PC is running a program in the background? Regarding Window Blinds 5?

window blinds
Justin P asked:

I have installed Window Blinds 5 on my PC, it didn’t work right. So I uninstalled it. After trying to uninstall the program it creates problems with Windows. So I have to leave the program installed on my PC.

However…I just told Window Blinds to use the default Windows XP settings skin. The little reminder that was popping up on the start-up screen telling me to buy the product after my 60 day trial period is no longer appearing. And I don’t see the Window Blinds Icon in the taskbar by the clock.

Does this mean that the software is not running on Start Up anymore? How can I tell if the program would still be running in the background?

Thanks…

Taryn

Hey. Because Windowblinds doesn’t show up usually, google a program called “x-raypc”. This allows you to see what process are running in the background. If ‘Wbsrv’ is running, you can deactivate it using the program too.
