Electric Blinds UK buying tips

BlindsElectric asked:

www.motorizedblinds.co.uk The key to buying Electric blinds in the UK is simply down to obtaining more than 1 quote, motorized blinds and remote control blinds may not cost as much as you think if you shop around. Ensure your supplier offers a Nationwide service and some kind of guarantee, also be aware that remotely controlled blinds can be battery or mains operated. This is the case for conservatories, homes, offices and businesses.

Our Electric blinds video song was written and performed by a guy called Rene Dwight and yes it is a corker isn’t it… oh and thanks for noticing our blinds as well.

The 2nd window blind company we had were great, if I am honest though we probably did push them to the limit over the price of our blinds. Still we are in a recession

Yes it is true that some blind companies use this sales ploy to fool customers into buying on the day, this is why it is best to get a number of quotes when buying shading solutions. In all fairness though most reputable UK companies would “not” resort to such tactics. The trick is to see if the salesperson offers advice and information as opposed to gimmicky enticements, common sense prevails in such situations.

Watch out for the discontinued range “trick” we had 2 companies offer us a last minute discontinued range of blinds for our conservatory, both sales people had the exact same script… conmen is all I can say, I was fuming. can’t see it would be any different with Electrically powered blinds or remote control packages.

Glad to hear you got a good deal Jody, you will find that the blinds salespeople with decent? products and prices will not try the hard sell approach. It also has to be said that companies selling window shading systems such as remote control are working on a higher level than those selling manual only, best advice is question the heck out of the sales person to ascertain their level of competence.

Bought some Electric Blinds not long ago, the price difference between the 2 electric blinds companies was massive- the result was we got our remote control conservatory blinds for £800 “less”.. well worth the torment of entertaining 2 salesmen.
