Anybody know about Blackout curtains, shades, blinds? What company/style is the best?

get the blinds that I call up down blinds, they pull down from the top and push up at bottom, and you can either leave em half way down or an still see out window or pull emm all the way down an no light comes in

i had a really bad problem in the mornings with the light coming in in my bedroom…i have the wooden blinds but they didnt help too much…then because my color scheme had black in it i put up black panel curtains…and NO more light not even a sliver lol

i have metal blinds, a roll up blind and sheers and a curtain !
I could not get rid of the daylight peeking through until i introduced some black panels made from cheap fabric..now it works, but the trick was the Black Fabric,,for sure

i have to have it totally dark when i sleep unless im so tired i dont care , so even when the sun is up i like the room as dark as possible …what i have are the room darkening shades from Hunter Douglas they are incredible the roon stays very dark all day unless i open them.
