I have a powercompact thats 130 watts on it. Can i leave the blinds open on the window thats right next to the tank? Will it help the corals or just grow more algae? Do you think it will affect the temp a lot? Part of the reason is where i live if you don’t keep the blinds open condensation builds up and the water rots the wood around it) it’s a 20 gallon if that makes a difference. thanks!

I bought a friend for my other parakeet maybe 9-ish months ago. They were good together right away not fightning. But I like to let them see outside the window or put the cage next to the window sometimes to give them fresh air. The newer bird always wants to go out with the other ones, calling out to them outside, while my old one doesn’t care about them and still pays attention to me. Sometimes I just want to let it go because it seems unhappy here and it makes me sad (Don’t worry I won’t). Should I keep the blinds slightly closed and the window closed so it can’t see outside? Maybe it’ll get closer to me and the other bird. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Sadly, trying to hold it is out of the question. Their feathers aren’t clipped and I don’t want them to be because they like to fly around the room. Even the one I’ve had longer isn’t hand trained but he still likes me. :(
